Genmaicha Tea

Ingredients: Organic green tea, Organic roasted brown rice

A warming, comforting Japanese green tea complimented by roasted, popped brown rice. Low in caffeine and packed full of antioxidants, genmaicha makes a perfect sipping tea to have throughout the day as opposed to once or twice, as with higher caffeine content green teas.  

Genmaicha contains high levels of EGCG, an antioxidant found in most green teas that supports the prevention of cell damage and multiple types of cancer. EGCG contains nearly 100 times the the antioxidant capabilities of vitamin C. Additionally, genmaicha can decrease cholesterol, lower the risk of heart disease, and stimulate blood flow. Genmaicha also has antibacterial properties that promote dental hygiene and health, and helps to regulate the thyroid.
